Kathy Worthington – Trustee
Kathy took early retirement from her role as Mortgage Underwriter at the Halifax Building Society where she worked for 32 years. She has one grown up son and two grandsons and has supported the charity for a number of years as. as a volunteer helping to raise awareness of the Charity’s work and helping with various fundraising activities. Kathy’s knowledge and experience in the financial sector will be valued considerably with the work we do.
Mark Foster – Trustee
Mark’s expertise as a coach alongside his extensive experience with children both on a personal and voluntary level enables him to achieve great results when speaking with children. His knowledge of First Aid and Heart Start training is a valued addition to the charity, in particular when working with schools where Mark offers his time free of charge to offer vital potential life changing skills. His dedication to the charity makes him a valued Trustee.
Paul Hutchins – Trustee
Paul’s involvement with the charity since 2010 has escalated from attending events to becoming hands on with any task asked of him. Paul’s practical skills in DIY make him an ideal candidate to work alongside our older children and parents who would like to learn any skills around the house to enable them to perform basic repairs. His fishing expertise is highly valued, especially when we hold our fishing matches which Paul personally organises from start to finish. His genuine passion for passing on his knowledge of practical skills to others compliments his role as a Trustee.

“After witnessing some of the hard work and dedication that ‘Wipe Your Tears’ have completed over the recent years, I was delighted to become a Patron for this wonderful Charity. It’s such a hard task to witness children who are suffering and may not live to see their adult years, but the work Wipe Your Tears accomplishes means these amazing children & their families have support. I find Wipe Your Tears truly inspiring and the team are dedicated beyond words. It’s an amazing feeling knowing you have helped make such a difference in a child’s life”.
